What does Kakekukeko mean?

Kakekukeko in short is a fusion of our keiki's names with myself as their Kumu (teacher). They are the drive and inspiration behind what I do. Like our ethnic background we want to share all that makes Hawaiʻi so unique. It is a melting pot of beauty. From mauka to makai we would like you to experience Hawaiʻi through our eyes.

"Aloha, My name is Janelle Nohara, owner and hands behind Kakekukeko. I am a happily married mom of four and a school from home enthusiast. I have a deep passion for sewing, which led me to start my own sewing business, Kakekukeko handmade clothing and accessories.

In addition to managing our busy household, I find joy in volunteering in our community, taking early morning walks on the beach, or spending time with friends and family.
