What does Kakekukeko mean?
Kakekukeko in short is a fusion of our keiki's names with myself as their Kumu (teacher). They are the drive and inspiration behind what we do. Like our ethnic background we want to share all that makes Hawaiʻi so unique. It is a melting pot of beauty. From mauka to makai we would like you to experience Hawaiʻi through our eyes.

"Aloha, My name is Janelle Nohara, owner and hands behind Kakekukeko. I am a happily married mom of four and a school from home enthusiast. I have a deep passion for sewing, which led me to start my own sewing business, Kakekukeko-handmade clothing and accessories.
In addition to managing our busy household, I find joy in volunteering in our community.
Balancing many roles, I cherish walking on the beach, crafting, journaling, and spending time with my ohana and friends.
